Big Problem Need Help!

Whats up w/ my IR3 when i plug in the charger it say PWRON like usuall and when I flick the switch on it starts to charge like usual but after 2 mins. it goes to safe and then it dies. And if i shut it off and turn it on w/o the charger it says MEM 3 and then SAFE and then the indaglo goes a away and then the safe goes away and all u see is the Battery indicator and the three box's and the battery bar is empty. And how long is it suppose to charge?

did you flip the switch to the on position?

did you start the car?

try both of those

I had the same prob. As Emmit said try it with the car on. It only worked for me with the car on, but i just got a wall charger and thet fixed my prob.

I have a wall charger. Buy one! It's a life saver! You may need a new battery.

i've had that happen to me, but it's never happened with my car on. I think maybe when you have your car off it doesn't supply enough juice to the charger and it cuts out.

In a car lighter the reading is : 12.6v at all times. so if your car is not hook up with the key off with power on to the lighter then you have to do one of two things: 1st: keep the car in the run (mode)...or...2nd: you can hook a hot wire with a fuse in the the wire ...to the lighter and this will give you power.......if you need help with this i can.....and yes i am a Certified Auto Mechanic...

Ok this is gunna soud gay but i have this power pack that its a jump start thing it supplies enought juice, and yes the switch was on it would charge for like 2 mins. then go 2 safe then die out again..................Will a angel LCD charger work on an IR3?thats whut im using
