Eh, the fun is levelling a character. After you get to 60, getting a level becomes grinding one dungeon over and over endlessly to get that one extra item, that is a minor increase over what you had in that slot previously.

Diabblo - i was in the top 50 in every HC ladder - i qut gaming until D# comes out. idiots a vinvidi ruined blizzard bought and bleed it dry -- all diablo people left! i a so sad. most D players went to WOW we went to Guild wars.

And honestly I could think of other ways to spend my time that cost a lot more. So I don't mind paying the 15 bucks to play.

the gnome is a costume from Halloween. I've gotten myself a couple of new weapons since that armor pic was taken, but that's full T2 armor for Hunters

I used to play, but blizzard opened char transfers, so half my guild transfered, and then they closed transfers early.. So half of my friends didnt make it. I hate that they can just do whatever they want regardless of who they screw. I quit about 2 months ago. May go back after they come out with the new expansion. (if it ever actually comes out)

patch day is usually a cluster you know what...but I'm glad to get some new content. AQ is getting kind of stale with some of the stuff in there. The encounters themselves are so not worth the loot they drop.

There's a lot to do pre 60. Once you hit 60 there's still a lot to do but it's mostly raiding. Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, Ahn Qiraj, and now Naxxramas.

If you played any of the Warcraft games there's a lot of stuff in it that you'll notice. There's also a lot of fun little things you'll notice that Blizzard put in to pay homage to older video games or in some cases just some neat stuff. There's a lvl 7 kid near Crystal Lake named Jason. The bankers in Stormwind are Olivia, Newton, and John. There's a quest to help a character named Linken, you help him get his "Master sword" back and you also get "Linken's Boomerang". There's a lot of really fun stuff to find if you're just in it to goof off. If you want to get serious about raiding there's plenty there too.

BTW what class/race did you make?

I just finally retired from WoW, sold my account on eBay for some phat loots! I was a Gnome Mage (Millex) on Cho'Gall and got up to Thaddius in Naxx. I transferred off in a favor of an East Coast server and moved to Veknilash. Currently working on Sapph in Naxx.

I just got tired of the massive time sink. With over 140 days on /played I just felt zero return for my time. While paintball was a $$ sink, WoW was an even bigger sink.

I finished with 5/9 T3, Wraith Blade, Exalted with every faction (PvP, Brood, AD, Cenarion, Timbermaw) and 6 different epic mounts. After a year of dumping countless hours on the PvP grind (rank 13) and such all I got for it was... $900.

What a waste. Never again.

I stopped playing back in Nov before Thanksgiving. Probably shoulda sold.

Hunter full T2, Barb of the Sand Reaver, Huhuran's Stinger. Great rings and trinkets etc. Oh well. Haven't really felt the urge to go back. I thought I'd miss it, but I don't. :dunno:

personally i think that a game that makes you pay to play bi-monthly is terrible. Also the story line is really bad in this game not to mention how much time you waste by playing this. I would rather play fps :)

The cost is seriously like... nothing. 50c a day. I have quite a bit of fun with it, personally. I've got a 35 Tauren Warrior (Zachar, Blood Ocean) on Bladefist and a 21 Night Elf Druid (Sephi, Hells Wrath) on Bladefist (don't play her anymore).

actually you only pay once a month....15 dollars for the whole month, less if you buy in lumps like 3 or 6 months at a time.

66 hunter(Chayse) and a 44 paladin(Leorynn) on Shadow Council, was on Gul'dan and transfered to play with some RL friends. Fun game, but I don't think I'll be playing too much longer.
