try some good ole duracells...it might be your battery type....or maybe not....but the rechargeable factor might have an affect on it....

I have had the best luck with the energizer e2's;don't know if they are really any better than the standard egizers. As far as other batteries you have to watch the size, some are smaller and will not fit tight in the batt compartment and in turn may intermitantly lose contact and cause problems. And they are battery hogs(my opinion only) so i just replace them for every play or tourney and save the old ones for emergencies. All i can say is try either egizers or duracells may not be as inexpensive but it is better than losing your hopper during a tight situation. And as the low power light yes mine comes on on every activation while the impeller is under load.....Hope this helps.

best thing to do is as stated the Energizer E2's they are silver or something like that, and the spacer.....I use the spacer with EVERY type of battery I put in there. I have also noticed that some batteries seem to give it a little more power than others.

evo2's are the biggest battery hogs ever, i have like 30 dead 9 volts because of the thing. Like mentioned before the best thing ive found is to just change them every time you play or atleast every other.
