First, I love my 05 Speed and has been flawless since it's initial hiccups of breaking paint the first few cases.
Other than that, perfect.
Now the questions.
I just bought an Evil Valve kit for the Angel, installed it, and had a gas leak from the valve.
I consider myself to be a pretty good gun tech so figured the threads on the exhaust valve we're cutting the o-ring and went with a different o-ring, reinstalled the new valve, same thing.
More gouging on the o-ring so thought I'd use the factory o-ring on the factory valve, installed it, same thing.
I'm about out off o-rings and hate having to completely disassembe the marker every time I install the valve kit.
I'm also aware that if I reinstall the factory valve back into the marker, may encounter the same problem with the threads playing havoc on the o-rings.
I've tried everything to keep the o-rings well lubed when inserting the valve kit but to no avail.
Has anybody had this same problem or should I have just stuck with the factory setup?
Second, when I first got the Angel, got a volumizer for the marker along with an Angel Tool Kit because I knew I'd need the Tool Kit to keep the Angel running smoothly and to tinker with the settings a bit.
I love to tinker and make my marker the best it can be so thought the volumizer would be a good start.
Once on, set the LPR to about 60 psi and has been blissful ever since.
Now the question is, do I really need the volumizer on the Speed?
Aesthetically, the Speed looks best without the volumizer but if it offers some degree of efficiency or something that is helpful in any way, will want to keep it.
What do you think.
I don't post much on these forums but love my Angel and want to do what's best for making it reliable, efficient, and better than stock.
Thanks for listening.
