View Full Version : How does the Intellifeed milling on a G7 Fly look? AWESOME!

I finally had Ken Crane officially install the MT Intellifeed (yeah, I still call it the Master Technafeed lol). YES, I was really worried about getting my G7 Fly milled. I mean, come on, the G7 Fly milling is just too sweet to mess with!
I got her back today and WOW! Ken kicked ass with the milling. I imagine that both Bob and Ken do the same work. I just had to share some pics of the work because I've been PM'ed in the past about how it came out. See the attached pics for what was milled and the port that the plug goes into from the loader. It looks sweet.
EDIT: Here is a better pic:

Haha thanks for the good luck wishes. I hope I do well...
I exchanged a few e-mails back and forth with Bob before asking you for the pics, and he said that my plug will have to be off to the left, and that kinda turned me off because I love the symmetrical look. I like to see that yours is in line with the noid cover screw, and I just shot Bob an e-mail to see if he could do the same with mine, or atleast give me the reason mine had to be offset. I will post back here for the other dark g7 fly owners.
Another question I have is what happens if you flat out run out of paint in your hopper, and then reload it? On the normal halo, it would keep spinning when there was no paint in the hopper, and just spin the paint you load in, but from what remember this one just stops.

On the prototypes we had the guys put the eyes together with shrink tube so only the Intellifeed would work. That was for testing reasons. We wanted to isolate the Halo feed so we could see actual handshakes. Production Intellifeed units use the Halo eyes as well as marker board signal. So if your eyes see no paint the hopper will run until you add paint.

Well that takes care of all my software concerns
Thank you very much!
I'm just waiting on Bob's response, or if anyone with a Dark G7 Fly has the intellifeed, PLEASE post a pic of it because the location of the plug being offset still kinda bugs me.

how much is it for the whole thing

how much is it for the whole thing$50 for the Kit for your Halo. The milling/install cost depends on the gun and how much work is needed to mill the spot for the plug port.
From what I understand, something like the G7 Fly is tricky to mill because it has to be at an exact spot and there isn't much room for a mistake. But the MT's know their stuff  .

how much did yours cost and where do you ship it to$35 for the work and that included installing the kit in the Halo and for the milling work. The amount of work needed will reflect the install price.
For a more specific cost, contact a MT and they can help you out. I believe that Ken and Bob are installing them. I am not sure if the others are too or not.

Just made a ticket with Bob, and packed up my dark and halo. I talked to him about getting the plug located in the same place as trigg's, and he said he could do it, so i'm really happy about that.
Question for trigg: with the cheetah board, does the reversing work just like it does with the eyes? Will the board recognizing the ramp like it does with the eyes?...dude I keep looking at your gun it looks so nice haha
Thanks guys

Thanks guysI did the initial testing using an Angry Board and not the Cheetah. Right now I have the Cheetah and YES, the reverse feature still works but since I ran out of air, I didn't get to fully set up the tuning to where it should be. I have no doubt that it'll see the ramp and work in conjunction with the MT Intelifeed. I gotta get air and try more.
Mavrick might be better to ask since he has tried a lot of settings with the MT Intelifeed and Cheetah.

First see this link. It is the install document for the MT Intellifeed for a Halo B
http://www.angel-owners.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=40129&d=1141353420
It is NOT wireless. It is the same concept as the original Intellifeed but with a far better interface. It still uses the same wire harness and connectors though. It will only work with a marker board with the "hop" connection. Much faster and does not drain your marker batteries to run the loader. This is not, I repeat not compatible in any way with a Jalo. They are two totally different things. So far it only works with the Halo B loader with any board in it. Now if I get other loaders to tinker with I can see if it will work with them.
Personally I think this rocks better than anything offered by anyone else. Hey look, Trigga got it so you know it's got to have the MT blessing!

Hey what is turnaround time on one. That would depend on how busy Ken or BoB are when you want it sent in. The best bet would be to contact them before you send it in to get an estimate of when they would be able to do it.
Here is a pic with the Halo attached:

Looks very nice with the hopper on too. Bob just got mine yesterday, and he says it'll be done on tuesday. Hopefully i'll get it back before saturday of next week so I can ball with it.
Trig, if you get air before next saturday, PLEASE make a video with the cheetah in your halo. I really want to see how fast the thing can really go. If you don't get air dont worry about it, cuz mine will hopefully be back by late next week, but i'm just so excited:cheers:
