I recieved a angel a while ago and i finally got all the parts i need like asa.. ball detent.. macro line ect. i was soo happy when i finally got everying think and then i went to dry fire it cause i had no paint.. and it worked beautifully. i finally got some paint and the gun will shoot like one ball and the rest chop. it makes me sooo angry. i noticed, which i think is the problem is that sometimes the balls get caught in the feed neck way down in there like right before it reaches the breach. im pretty sure this is the problem. the balls get pretty stuck and my hopper can even push them through so im guessing that is the problem. i tried unscrewing it but only the top half comes off? what could i do? any suggestions? PLEASE HELP!

Sounds like you have the old gated feed. That came about before force fed hoppers were common, it was supposed to keep balls in the breech from bouncing back up out of the gun.
If you take that top half off, you'll see a little plastic disc with three tabs sticking out. Just get rid of the disk, and try it again.
All else fails, try a new feedneck. Use a strap wrench to get the botom half off.
Other reasons for chopping could be the rate of fire vs hopper feed speed, and teh adjustment of the ram.

yeah ive already tried that plastic disk and thats not it. it gets caught further down than that. i guess i just have to buy a new feedneck. i hope this is the only problem.

If you just drop 1 ball in there, can you see where it is hung up?
Can you open the breech door freely?
If you can't, my guess is your RAM is too far forward and so the bolt is stopping the ball from falling freely into the breech. If this is the case, read the manual on how to adjust the RAM.

yeah i can see where it gets stuck. it gets stuck right at the end of the feed neck just before the breech. when i shoot it yes the bolt sometimes gets stuck so i have to push it back in order to open the breech door. i just ordered i new feed neck so i hope that helps.

That's very odd. I have never seen a ball just gets hung up in the feed neck, at least not a clean feed neck anyway. If you have a piece of dried up paintball shell in there, it would, but then again you would see that.
Couple (few) of questions:
If your bolt is all the way back, does the ball still get hung up in the feed neck?
Can you freely move the bolt in the beech door? And is there anything in the breech that look out of place that might interfere with the bolt? If you close the breech door without the bolt in it (make sure gun is also OFF), and you look in the beech with the barrel off, do the inside diameters align correctly?
What is your LPR pressure? (ram/bolt operation will be affected if your LPR pressure is too low).

when the bolt is all the way back it still gets stuck in the feed neck. i can tell that the bolt is not keeping it up at all. i can freely move the bolt in the breech door. i dont think anything really looks out of place that could stop the bolt except the cops rod but there is a groov on bolt so it just passes right over that and the only other think i could think of is the ball detent but that just springs in when the bolt fires. the inside diamater of the barrel seems just slightly slightly off but it doesnt look at all to be a problem.
I dont really know how to adjust my lpr i know you take out shims or put in shims and each shim is 3.5 psi or .2 bar but what should the lpr be at it says in the manual it should be at 95 psi. what should it be at? and how do you get the lpr assembly out. i screw off the end cap but how do you get it out from there?

Alright, if you are sure the feed neck is the problem for balls not to drop in freely, then your new neck would fix that problem.
However, your bolt not returning all the way is still a problem.
It's a combination of LPR pressure and Snap Ring adjustment (if you still have the original IR3 ram).
First, LPR pressure: The only way to know what pressure you are at is with a gauge from the Angel Toolkit. Otherwise, there's no way to tell since each LPR kit is different from gun to gun. I'd set LPR pressure at 90 psi (most will say 95 psi, some will say less than 90). If you don't have the Angel Toolkit, I'd suggest leaving it alone if the gun works fine before. Sometimes just taking it in and out can mess things up. The Toolkit will have everything you need to dissemble your gun.
Once you have your LPR adjusted, you can then adjust the Snap Ring.
If you need the manual, check here:

As usual, use your judgement. It could be a whole different problem entirely.
