Anyone know if WDP will sell back with differente bore for the barrel the come stock with the Angel One. Cause even the .691 is way to big to use with the paint we play ?

I'm guessing not right away. I'm sure they figured those 3 sizes were ideal and that's why they went with them. However....if enough people complain I could see them offering a couple of smaller sizes in the future.

ya...we realize that. He was asking whether WDP would be selling smaller backs seperately.

r u kiddin me thats bob moon of course hes sure!!!
To clarify, my yes was the answer to the post directly above mine. The Angel will be using the lastest thread pattern, the same as the G7 Fly and 06 Speed. Will WDP offer smaller bores, no idea but I am sure Angel Force will step up to the plate.

You are correct on one part; the barrel uses the same thread pattern but the thread pattern is shorter. (So this is a new barrel) In the box you will receive a spacer ring (looks like a wedding ring) that allows you to use the G7 fly and Speed06 barrels on the new angel One.
And before every one goes off on one calling WDP… This will make know difference to people with new barrel kits for the G7 Fly etc.
PS. I am not the first to state this fact, so I am not leaking any of the trust WDP put in me.

This is a quote from a UK forum…. To clarify what I already know about the Angel one before my above statement.
HI all,
We had a good day at WDP yesterday.
I have to say that the Angel 1 is typically Angel but it really isn't like any other Angel before. It's a new animal.......
Still no official pic's and they are guarding against unofficial pics as well.
Outwardly it looks like a smaller version of previous Angels but the insides are very different. It's still a three tube design but the tubes are used differently. Continued use of the three tubes allows the dramatic reduction in length. The front end is now effectively a huge gas reservoir with the LPR moving to the rear of the gun. The ram remains in the standard position and really is almost friction free. If you tip the marker backwards and forwards you can hear the ram and bolt slide to and fro. We were amused at Frazers party trick of blowing and sucking on the rams gas port like a flute which made the hammer shoot backwards and forwards.
The internal parts are better made than in previous Angels which is really saying something. The solonoid is really compact and cycles faster than any before.
The board is larger than previous Angels due to the fact that it hold a lot more circuitry. The colour screen is a really nice touch. The mode selection is very user friendly. The fire modes are fully customis-able (is that a word?). You can select from loads of pre programmed modes or adjust the settings to your own preferences. It really is easy to do. The board does everything that an after-market board does with the added security that you don't have to change the board which invalidates your warranty.
The marker comes with some really nice extras which have never been included with the Angels before. Firstly a very sleak On/Off ASA with a purge valve. The on/off knob is very smooth and glides, no effort needed at all. There is a four piece (3 backs, 1 front) barrel system included as well with large bore sizes. I think they are .691, .693 and .695, can't remember but they are something like that. There is even a clamping feed neck lazer engraved with ANGEL, this is a top upgrade because the twist locks have never really been popular. The ASA and the Feedneck will be available as aftermarket products for all previous marks of Angel in the near future.
The barrel system thread is slightly different to the G7 Fly and Speed 06 thread. Don't worry though, if you have aquired or you wish to aquire CP, Freak or Dye backs with the G7 Fly/Speed 06 thread there is a wedding ring sized adaptor which comes with the marker to make them compatible.
The marker will take high or low pressure output air systems and any loader suits it fine. Earlier Angels didn't get on with Reloader B's but the Angel 1 has no problem.
There is a comprehensive tool kit included. The only thing you will need for advanced maintenance is a set of gauges which will also be available as an extra soon. The marker is very good from a service point of view and more can be done by the owner than ever before, so simple is the design. I'm not advocating that you dick around if you don't have some experience but they are very straight forward indeed.
The anti-double ball system is different and so is the route of the eye ribbon which allows for a very small and compact eye ribbon cover.
Availability is going to be very limited initially. First to come in will be DUST BLACK followed by GLOSS BLACK with the COLOURS and FADES and fancy TATTOO CAMO markers to follow on after that.
The box is cool too, it's cube shaped and is nicely in keeping with the updated design.
Before anyone says "It's just another Angel", well yes it is another Angel but it really isn't 'just another one' at all.
Price is going to be around the £700 mark for solid colours with some on top for the fancy colours, which for what is included is not a lot at all.
Before everyone panics, the ring is for aesthetic purposes only. The threads are the same just the non-threaded portion of the barrel (shank) is shorter on the factory One barrel so it is possible with G7 Fly/06 barrels you will see a few threads, so hence the beauty ring.
