Hello, I just received my Angel G7 Fly today. This is my second WDP product (traded my 05 speed for a new g7 Fly). First, when I opened the box I was in awe, like usual when you get an Angel. Then I read the manual about 3 times so I wouldn't screw anything up. Next I adjusted my trigger to my likeing. I have a few questions about general matinence, settings, etc. First, grease the ram, valve, LPR and mini-reg about every 10 cases right? Oil every 4 cases correct? I read somewhere on here that it is improper to put oil in the ASA because it can "gunk" up the mini-reg and it is best to put it directly into the LPR side of the gun (i.e. 1-2 drops?)?
Next settings:
I have not fired the marker yet but I adjusted my settings because I remember what I used on the 5speed and they worked great.
Dwell: 10
MdB: 5
TR: 1
Loader: 12 (halo)
mROF: 20
Mode:1 "true semi"
I will be gassing it up tomorrow to check the LPR. I assume it is around 4.5 BAR (65psi). This is my next question: should I lower my LPR right out of the box, or should I lower it after about 2-3 cases so the marker can be "broken in"? I read that Ken suggests 50 psi (3.45 BAR). Is this the best pressure to have it at?
sorry for the length
Thanks Guys!

P.S. I orded a DEZign Bolt from Robert Hernandez because his bolts are the best bolts that I have ever used and have the highet flow rates. I recommend anyone who wants to gain 30+ fps and lower your input pressure get one of his bolts.

Man, I like you already! What a post. Full of details and ir sure sounds like you know your stuff. Awesome.
You should not have a problem running at a lower LPR like 50psi. I have heard some people say they just leave it at 65psi but most like to lower it to 50psi based on Ken's recommendation to reduce what people are calling the kick.
Me? I'd try it at 65psi (or whatever it came to you at) for a couple cases and see what you think compared to the Speed 05 you had. It does have a lighter hammer than the 05 Speed. Either way, try it stock before you mess with it otherwise you won't have anything to compare it to after you make the changes.
Yeah, I read that Ken said at tech class once that never to put oil in the ASA for that very reason. But to be fair, that came from someone else so I don't want to put words in his mouth. I am not sure if he ever posted thast here or not.
Anyway, congrats on the G7 Fly!

I have a Polished Red G7 Fly with a 45 frame.
Yes, I have a sacred geomety "shape". Five points for anyone besides Trigga who can identify the "shape" in my avatar. Five bonus points if you can idenitify the reference to what in a little book entitled "Flatland".
Have fun. Trigga you know it?

It is a hypercube for those who care. A four dimensional cube. Also known as a tesseract. Sorry to bore you.
