g7 board

do u think you could put a g7 board in a ir3 cause there selling them for 250 at painballgear.com. just thought it would be kind of a cool idea if it worked. it looks like it would. would it?

you probly could but dont buy one for 250 new get one on here used for lk 80 or 90

That generation of board uses opto switches. The triggers have a leaf spring that will interrupt the light beam to activate the marker. The IR3 is a different animal. So unless you can get a leaf spring trigger in there I think your out of luck for using this type of board. Aftermarket boards that have micro switches are what you want to use. For instance a Tadao board if it will fit properly and if the trigger will adjust enough. Best ones to answer that are MT's like Ken or Bob. They would give you the straight facts of what your options are.
