whats the best way to clean the eyes after ball breaks?

If you are at the field, open the breech, and blow them out with a tank. Just unhook the macroline and use that.
If you have more time, remove the covers, one side at a time keeps it easy.
If the eyes are stuck in the holes, use an allen key to push them out rom the inside, don't pull on the ribbon.
Then just wipe them and the detent down and put everything back together.

You can get cans of compressed air like you use on your computer this also works.

be careful when taking the eyes out, since the ribbon is a bit delicate, i use a q-tip under the ribbon to gently pry the eyes out carefully.

I avoid prying the eyes out...even gently. I use an allen key and pus them out from the inside (like warpedx says above).
