I know that he is not here right now, but he is over in Iraq fighting for our country. I think that we should all keep him in mind, and give him the best of luck.
Thanks.

That is a very kind gesture and I would also like to extend my warmest regards to both those whom we share this common bond and those fighting which we do not know.
Like it or not, there is a conflict going on and our brothers/sisters dedicated themselves to freedom and they are upholding that commitment.
I have had to stomach a lot of anit-bush/anti-war propaganda in the last few days and it is everyones right to voice their opinions, but please remember that at one time a world power threatened this very soil (Pearl Harbor) and it was the act of war that stifled those attempts.
It is easy to maintain that we do not NEED to fight in Iraq because there are no Iraq soldiers marching down the main street of your hometown, but without showing the world that America will not stand for the actions of certain factions and/or governments there very well could be a day when a man like Sadaam could indeed wage war on America in his own terms.
Everyone pray that those fighting make the best of their time and come home safe. You dont need to agree with why they are fighting, but they are fighting and without God and America behind them, it makes their deaths/suffering futile.

Exactly, even though I dont agree with being there, I support our troops, and hope they return home soon, with as few casulties as possible. AND THEY NEED TO STAY OUT OF THOSE DAMN HELICOPTERS. Everytime you turn around another one crashes.

I want to thank you guys for your support of our troops. I trained a whole bunch of them, and now I'm worried sick that my boys are gonna get shot up. I'm not in any more, so I have to get my combat with my new IR3. Once again thanks again for the support of our boys over seas. You have no idea how much it means to them.

actually cutter, check out a thread we had here that's gone more than a few pages I think it was just titled War.....you'll find that there is not only a large support for our military forces, but more than a few of us here who are ex military, myself included.

Thanks for the thoughts guys. Its somewhat interesting and boring out here. Is cool watching our cruise missiles take off. As for the helicopters, lets say that collision was very close by. Funny thing is, we still watch CNN. Don't get much extra info except for all the rumors going around.
Take it easy guys, keep balling.

Those helos are super high maintance, and dust and sand doesn't agree with them. It doesn't help when there are hundreds flying around, its crazy if you think you can completly organize several countries running helo ops.

It was kinda scarry to call one of my close friends. He did his active duty with the 82nd and now he is in N.G. When I heard his voice tonight it was a huge relief. I was afraid to call because I didn't want to hear his unit was in the Gulf. His unit has been sent to a local base instead.
I support our leaders and hope very much that our men and women come home soon, and safely. I guess I was fortunate to not see any combat while I was in.

I like my way of life. I want my son to have the same CHOICES and FREEDOMS. Regardless of anyone's opinions, they have the RIGHT to have these opinions and voice them because others have fought for that. It is hypocritical for those same people to condemn and not support. They make me sick, really they do...

WarpedX- Are you allowed to take pics of the missles taking off? In class when we turn on the NEWS I get all excited when they show the missles take off. They're so cool.
