First off I'm 6'0" tall, just so you guys know. I also play mid/back, and if needed, I'll play front. I also shoot a Warped Sportz Dark IR3 by the way.

I'm in the market for a new tank. I will be getting an ACI Bulldog II tank very soon but I can't decide which one to get, the 68ci or the 88ci "stubby" tank.

I've heard that the stubby tank is not much longer than a 68ci, just a little fatter. Is it that much bigger than a 68ci tank anyway? :puzzled:

The price is practically the same. I can get the 88ci stubby tank directly from ACI and it's only like $5 more than the 68ci.

Also, if it's not too much bigger, that I won't notice, wouldn't it be a better to get the tank with the higher capacity (in this case, the 88ci)?

Please help me decide. Post any comments or experiences you've had with the 88ci stubby tank.

Thanks in adavance :)

I would personally get a 68. Ive tried the crossfire 72 stub on my 2k2 LCD and its really uncomfertable to me because of my setup. It works horrible if u have a drop zone style dropfoward, you cant get a good grip of your frame because its so fat and your arm has to go around the side of the tank. (u follow;) So ya id personally get a 68 but it matters the set up of your gun

Well i depends if u like alota shouder or not....i play back and front......its good to have a bigger tank for back cause more air = more shots..plus wit more shoulder gun won't mover much when u fire...easier to aim...

Well since you do have an angel you realy dont need an 88 unless you are going to shoot over 1500 shots in a game. i dont know about you but i play every position and i have a 45/45 crosfire lp tank and i get around 1000 shots out of it and it keeps my gun light and small. So unless you are going to shoot almost a case a game why carry around the extra weight??????? go with the 68.

I would go with the 68 myself. I play mid/back myself and I really don't like the 88 because its so cumbersome. I can get 1600 shots easy with the 68. That's about 11 pods of paint. I usually go out with 13 pods, but then again, that's just me... :boobies:

the speed is so efficient, why make a light gun heavy?

I own both a 68 and an 88. The 68 has a nice feel to it and I use it pretty much anytime I am playing rec or in a 5 man tourney or less. When I start to play in 7 or 10 man tourneys I got to switch to the big dog, for the extra air. The stubby is fatter than the 68. The only downfall to that is it pushes your arm out further to the side of your gun, which makes it easier for you to get shot on the arm. So you have to learn to adjust and shoot so that you still stay tight to the bunker. So I agree with everyone else and I would go with the 68.
