I was wondering what the function (if any) of the set screw on the front (looking down the barrel) of the G7 is used for. It is located between the two tubes and looks to be around 10/32 (probably metric though) in size. I have some ideas, but wanted to see what fellow AOGers have to say about it.....

It is a grub screw (plug). The tiny center tube is drilled through the gun to allow the low pressure air from the LPR to travel back to the 14-way. The screw you are looking at (M5x0.8 BTW) seals the end of the passageway.

The reason I asked was to see if I could hook up a pressure guage (I use a guage from SillyBoyz) to check the Mini reg pressure. It sounds like it would only measure the LPR pressure though.

Thanx boostmonkey!

That's right, it would measure LPR pressure, not minireg pressure. I use a shocktech inline gauge ASA adapter to measure minireg output. It's pretty sweet. It is about 1.5" high, screws in between the gun and the minireg, and has 3 gauge ports.

Can I get some pix/specs on it (even in action, if ya have some). I need a tool that measures the mimireg pressure and what u have sounds like a solid fit. Do you have any 4 sale (or a location on where 2 buy)?

Thanx bro...

This (http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=ajCLh8aaK7-L7oLtKvZLL8xTld0SVEcraeU=?ProductID=m2ysFAY7BAcAAA D8atLHhy4z#)adapter and this gauge.

Bow to my intellect!

Oh wait, action village is out of the 300 psi Dye gauges apparently. But you get the idea.
