Now that I have done my homework on all four major tanks: AIR, Apok, Maxy, and Conquest. I have decided to go with the Mac. My questions now is to you who have this tank are: What kid of drops can you use with them and can you not even use a drop at all and use the frame? Thanks a million guys!

I used a shocktech mini drop w/ mine....any drop w/ a dovetail mount will work...

Does it come with a dovetail so i can just screw it onto the frame?

dont drop it, it comes with a rail use that it works great with a 68/45

i play front so would a 45/45 be good for me?

i know a couple of guys with 45/45 those are good though its allitle harder to play with one if you shoot a cocker realy the only reason you dont wanna drop your tank is becouse when you do your arm has to curve around the tank when you hold your gun instead of fitting in right at the end of the bottle next to the reg
i dont know if i explained that right but basicly you drop your gun and it gets shorter but you ad width when your arm is curved around the tank and a smaller profile is more important that your gun being as short as possible

I know what your talking about cause thats whats happens with my set up right now. Obviously i dont shoot a cocker, so do you think the 45 would be a good size for me?

what do you shoot is it good on gas efficiency the size realy doesnt matter its all a comfort thing im 6ft3in so a bigger tank feels better to me but if your gun cant get more than say a hopper and 4 pods on a 45/45 i wouldnt buy it
but thats just my two cents

also you want to make sure that your rig isnt so short that it gets uncomforatable to shoot ie having arm cramps from the angle or bending your wrist at a bad angle wich if you bend it out can also mess with your profile
i would find somebody with a 45/45 tank (any tank) and try how it feels on a little drop
my personal setup is a 68/48 screw in on a shocktech mini drop and i love it allot best one ove ever used but those conquest feel nice on the rail

Yeah I went to the field today and i was asking people to let me check out their setups, I tried this one guys angel lcd w/ air (45) it was nice but when i was asking about the tank he said its not worth the extra 200 just for some extra pins and whistles (and i certainly agreed). I dont want max flow because its too bulky. So i think mac is gonna be fine for me, since im a) not to tall (almost 6ft), b) compared to some other tanks, its really inexpensive and c) I've heard its really light.

I have got a quest and an air in the mail, got it in a great deal with the gun. I love my mac to much so the air is going to get sold.

anyways the stock 'quest rail df thing isnt bad, personally i want the short eclipse one. just a little df is great. just remember that a 'quest is dam light and it may change how the marker handles.

sounds weird sorry not sure if that made sense.

the geddon is a greate tank but in my opinion the mac is better mostly just for weight purposes but also for the fact that you need a tool to turn the geddon on and off i believe though it is nice to be able to take the tank off of the geddon
its all preferance though and the geddons are realy realy cheap now too you should check the airamerica web sight i think there like 350
