When I bought my gun, I saw a note on the website stating the following:
"Note: The G7 Fly and all further angels, will have G7 FLY BARREL THREADING. Other Angel threaded barrels WILL NOT fit the G7 Fly or any angels released after."
Now I understand what this means... but if I go to another site looking to buy a barrel for my G7 Fly, how will I know if the threading on that barrel is for my Angel or for the older models?

From my experience the site should specify if it is a G7 barrel or not. If it doesnt say you can contact them and ask. Some retailers still dont know the difference so you have to be sure that they know there is a difference.

That was my fear. I will have to double check before I buy. Thanks!
Anyone know of a good barrel or barrel kit that will fit the G7 Fly?

Nice! Stainless Steel Inserts! Aren't they hard to find? Where did you get them?
Also, where did you get the back piece with the Angel G7 Fly threads?
Didn't know that Smart Parts (Freak) made the back piece for the G7 Fly.

if you look online it should specify 06 G7 threads as compared to 05 or older style angels. if they have pics you can tell too since they are much shorter in the threaded part.

I've learned that you should not go by the picture on the site. Half the time, they show one standard picture when it comes to barrels, and just change the description for each different marker.
The problem is, hardly any sites specifically state that their Angel barrels have the new or old style threading.
Contacting the salesperson I think is the best bet.
So far I'm looking at the Sanchez Machine Orbium 2 Piece Barrel Kit (Black Polished). I've heard that 3 piece barrel kits can be a pain to clean up IF a ball breaks. The only downside to the Orbium kit (to me that is), it only has 4 bore sizes in intervals of 3. The bore size gap from one back piece to the next is pretty big...
