cobra v2 bolt...breech wont close

I just got a brand new cobra v2.0 bolt and my breech wont close.

I tried adjusting the hammer and it didn't change anything. So I compared the new bolt to some old ones I had and I noticed the little steel shaft that goes into the hammer is about 2 or 3mm longer than the other ones.


What do you guys suggest I do? Send it back?

I don't know if sending it back is going to work since Cobra is going out of business. However, they may swap it out... you can give it a try (I tried e-mailing them and they never got back to me... however, when I buy parts off their online store it gets sent to me asap... g'luck). Otherwise, what I'd do is file down the metal part so it matches the length of your stock bolt (make sure to round the edge a little so it "clicks" into the hammer). Kinda weird that Cobra would send you a fault part like that. I received my cobra bolt about a month ago and it's been kicking rear anus!
