How come I dont see alot of c+c's with the dust pewer fade? Is it because they are too expensive? was there a limited # made?

are u kidding me?? i think black to pewter fade is the best color on the planet for angels. its just so rare with cnc ir3s and all ir3s as a matter of fact. it looks nice whether its in dust or polished finish. im getting my gun reannodizied soon but cant trust any annodizers to actually do a black to pewter fade as good as wdps so im just going with the awesome but simple dust black.

props to you, CpCnCir3. Dust black is pretty sick too. Any darker color anodizing is cool, epecially when faded. Thanks for the input.

I'm a little partial to my black/pewter/silver fade Impact IR3. The fade is actually a little more gradual than it appears in this pic. Crappy camera.

Lol it's funny that you say that, Just today, i saw a kid with a Fly pewter dust fade ir3. It really is a pretty sweet color, I felt jealous:drools: :tongue:

Plus it's easy to find black or silver accessories to match it.

Yeah, it's hard finding dust accessories, but putting gloss accessories on a dust finish isn't all that noticeable. The Cobra fang grip, and indestruct detent look great on my dust IR3. And I'm a pretty picky guy about the appearance of my markers.

im thinking of putting a black fang grip on mine. Im kinda picky too but if it does its job well im happy.I've asked cobra if they would make dust accesories and they said it wasn't worth the ano. I went yesterday to their store and got to shoot a mamba ir3. its sooo sweeet!!! they only dust their accessories if it is going on their guns, not for individual sale. bummer.:madd:

Thanks. I like it too. I thought about airbrushing some flames on it, but that's just too much work. The flames are just custom cut vinyl decals.

I also have some blue flames that I want to put on my other Halo, that goes with my dust blue Fly.
