Hey, i was just wondering about how heavy is an ir3? I'm using a Nasty Impulse now... how is it weight wise compared to that?
Thanks
Mickey
if you worry about an extra 1/2 lb or so then go shoot a tipman.....it kills me how everyone is so worried about weight. impulse will be a littel lighter but also dont forget with weight comes steadyness when firing... you wont shake as much.. your shots will stay in the same place... less kick ... etc etc

2.75lbs is an Angel Dark ir3 the lightest is joy at 1.9lbs  and a force is 2.25lbs --> the G7 is about 2lbs.
the ir3 can be made lighter by upgrading to a 4.8v (1 less cell) board and Ti hammer. Of coarse I just happen to have a custom built ir3 with 4.8 speed board for sale and I sell the Ti hammers:drink: - it makes the gun feel like an a4 - unfortunaly no way to weigh it!
my joy with an evolve kit and plastic/steel hammer is super light wight under 2lbs:bouncer:

speeds are heavier and stock a4 are too but not much - but it depends on the carving the more that's gone the lighter. joy has alot of metal missing breech is almost complete carved out! The joy is my fav angel i have owned all of them from 2003 on except the specials models like cobra or impact. The force is great gun if you need a warranty and are going to use it - i recommend a force just for that reason. good luck russ!
