Has anyone ever done a side by side comparison between 9.6v rechargeable (NiMH) and the Alkaline type of battery (for use specifically in Hoppers)?

I was looking at the PowerEx rechargeable, has anyone used these and what has their experience been? I've got an Empire Reloader w/ the 9v battery mod and am tired of buying two 9volts every weekend.

Thanks for any feedback you can provide. I'm hoping I can save a little $$ w/ rechargeables. :biggthump

nada, zilch, nothing ... no posts or feedback? not even a flame to do a search or anything?? :notsure:

Well I'm getting some rechargeables on Friday (I hope) and playing Saturday so I'll at least let you know how they compared to regular 9v batteries.

someone on the 05 speed forum has done a comparison. the best battery i found was the bone rechargable. i get about 10 cases through my hopper before i have to recharge. my halo would eat aa's like nothing. get the bone and youll like it. i got mine at sakworld.

I got the PowerEx 9.6 on Friday in the mail and tried them out saturday all day. Seemed to work great. Very fast and no drop off. I had a couple chops which is unusual but I can't see how that would have anything to do w/ the new batteries.
