Im having some issues with my evolve setup on my 04 speed, ive got the full kit, both the valve, and lpr adjuster, and the lighter hammer, etc...

If i were to completely remove the evolve kit accept the hammer, would the marker be ok? or is the hammer going to be an issue??

2. is the lpr adjuster the main problem with the evolve kits? if so, would i be better off removing it and adjust the lpr the old fashioned way?

Im getting terrible shoot down, and i let someone use it this past weekend for a tournament, its input was at 400 PSI on the minireg, meaning it was suffering from some serious shootdown. I havent been able to cycle paint through it. Heres the set-up, maybe im doing something wrong...
04 flied evolved speed
Tank 450 preset
Minireg, set to just below 250 (thanks to the guage on the a4 flashtank)
Dwell is at 12
Lpr was adjusted to around 104 psi with the reg set to 350 (as stated in the manual)

evolve LPR i believe is around 50 psi

Any ideas?

I had the whole kit for a while. I think alot of issues were comming from the adj. if you have a dodgy LPR and were really trying to push it low (35-45psi). Impact set mine at 55psi and it worked perfectly. Def no reason not to use the valve side volly and stem, because that works well with the hammer.

I had a dodgy LPR myself on my 05 speed, replaced the LPR with a new LPR, still alittle inconsistent, and finally settled on a JDS, now it shoots lazers.

Your talkin about the evolve LPR Adjuster, not the internal WDP one right?

Hmmm im just gettin sick of dealing with it, i cant afford new guns so i buy used, and i always get shafted...

I am talking of the LPR Adj. Cap. The kit is a bit Dodgy if you had the Adj. cap + a Dodgy LPR + you were trying to push the LPR psi really low. Eventually, I came to replace them both and it really made a night and day difference for me. If you have a good LPR (one with really good recharge and is stable) then the adj cap works well as long as its set conservitavely.
