I hope its better then that piece of junk they called Halo 2. They had made so many cool video's about Halo 2 to hype everything up and when it came out it was nothing like the videos it was so disapointing. They basically made an unreal tournament style game but with the characters of Halo when they made Halo 2.

I like that they have Master chief with the awesome and powerful Halo 1 assualt rifle. Maybe they want to go back to the oldschool master chief who was way cooler.

I hope bungie doesn't delay Halo 3 like they did Halo 2, they had delayed Halo 2 bout a year I had it reserved for 11 months when I was only supposed to have it reserved for 2 months.

You've gotta play Halo 2 on Xbox Live. It's the shiznit! Much better than just playing the game. It's the best Xbox Live game around. There's nothing that compares as far as graphics. It looks like Halo 3 will be the same. I hope they've fixed some of the bugs.

You're right about the delay though. When they say it'll be out in 2007, it'll probably be out December 2007 at the earliest.

I am the biggest Halo freak, Ive got the books, all the games, only reason I bought the 360 was to play Halo2 with better graphics and for when Halo3 came out

I used to be huge into playing halo 2 online me and friends woudl play for days during the summer. My team mates and I used to drink quite alot when we played and well thats when the games was really hard to play. I once puked when playing online and well I puked all over my microphone halfway though a sentence when talking to people. It was the wierdest soudn ever.

looks...i dunno. it has the possibility of being very VERY good, or extremely terrible. I mean look at all the things that have come in sets of three, movies, games, etc. and most of the time they fail. Take the matrix trilogy for example:

The Matrix: great movie with never before seen movie styles and effects. Had a great plot and was decently acted.
Matrix 2: WTF is this piece of ****!? wicked bad movie with no plot and terrible acting
Matrix 3: ok guys, weve had enough. A gay ending to what could have been an incredible threesome.

All im saying is dont keep your hopes up too high

Halo 3 should be amazing. I am a pretty big Halo fan myself. (Halo Special Edition Xbox, all the books, posters, some action figures, etc.) Haven't really played much Live lately, been fairly busy with school and the gf. From the looks of the trailer H3 should be awesome, Bungie has two excellent versions already, if they can make a good balance of Halo 1 and Halo 2 elements it will be the biggest hit yet. And as for Halo 2 as a tournament game, last time I checked the Grand Prize at a Major League Gaming Competition was $10,000 dollars for 1st place. Not bad for a video game.
