Up for sale: A Gloss Red Old Angel Thread SM-1 Orbium-3 purchased from FMA.

This set is in perfect shape and works like a dream. Like all my other paintball items, I took great care of it. I am asking for $150 Shipped to your door.

Specifications on the kit taken from FMA’s website:

The FMA Orbium 3 is the latest 3 piece barrel kit from Sanchez Machine. The FMA kit comes with case, four custom bore inserts .684 .689 .693, .695, 01 Hub and three tips 12" 14" and 16".

Muzzle Porting Pattern: This porting pattern has shown during testing to be the most effective in the release of pressurized gasses from behind a paintball. Because of the unique hole pattern and diameter of each hold, this combination reduces pressures very evenly from behind the paintball as it exits the muzzel. Which result in a straight flight pattern due to no turbulence and no spin on the paintball. The milling breaks up the solid appearance of the barrel and gives it a low profile.

Body Porting Pattern: The body porting pattern is very unique, it quiets the sound of a shot to almost no sound at all when paintballs are fired. The holes also aid the transfer of the paintball from a tight boar to a loose boar size which allows a paintball to regain shape and stability before exiting the muzzle. The boar size of the body is a very important feature of the SM barrel and has been perfected to a protected size that is what makes the barrel accurate and reliable in all weather conditions.

Why am I selling? Well I hate to see it go but this kit is for the older Angel Barrel Threads so it does not fit on my G7 Fly.

Yo Trig,

Keep the kit and get new inserts to match. I bought the new kit (SM1- Orbium 3 with new Angel threads)from FMA and wanted to use it with my DM6 also. I ordered new inserts with Autococker threads so I can the barrel system on both guns. Just a suggestion!!!

almost forgot ... are the inserts standard threading or reverse threading? my sm1 kit is standard. so if urs are too ... ill most likely take them

plz do ...When I hold the barrel pointing away from me, the inserts screw into the Hub by turning them clock-wise. Looks like the standard threading.

As far as parting out the inserts, I am working on getting a price for some new thread inserts. When I get that then, I'll be ready to part out the inserts. Stay tuned...

well ... for now i am out of the running for purchasing anything. money issues came up and i no longer can afford it.

There is nothing specifically that I can think that I am looking for but I'll entertain anything since I have no use for the kit with the G7 Fly.

As far as comparing it to the CP set, I could not honestly tell you since I haven't used the CP. Check out the reviews in my first post (the thread I have listed) for what other people think of the SM-1 kit.

thanks for your info .i only asked because i shoot cp now but most of what i have read online about this kit has been possative.and it would match my a4 fly really nice,lol.
