speeds any good?

hey guys. sorry for all the damn newbiew questions lately, but bare with me. back when i played and had a 2k1 dark lcd it was the greatest thing out. and ofcourse, i got out of paintball for a few years and trying to get in. im trying to read up on all the new angels that have came out and whats different on them. right now im am a bit torn. i dont wanna spend alot of $$ too. i LOVED my old dark angel. and have been thinking about getting 1 and putting a tadao board, eyes, and whatever newest internals in it i can.. .BUT i have also been looking over SPEEDS. from the looks of them, they rock out of the box, have eyes and the "new" internals id wanna put in a old LCD... only neg thing is it has a 90* grip and i love the 45s. anywho, is there any difference between the 04 and 05 speeds? i have been seeing 04 speeds go for 250-300... where a older dark lcd (2k-2k3) can go for 150-300, but then it will cost be about $400-500 to get the new stuff put in.

i guess my question is, even though i loved my old 2k1 dark, should i just get a new speed instead *cant afford a NEW angel, and dont really wanna go over $300 for a gun yet. also, if i should go with a speed, which 1.. 04 or 05? or should i look at a fly instead? and do the speeds have "eyes" or is this sensi thing just some fake eyes that doesnt do anything but slow the rof down?

the 05 and 06 have eyes and the 04 doesn't, and the 05 you can get a 45 frame. some aftermarket companies do make 45 frames for the 04 speed, but it is hard to find. with the 04, you really just need a fast hopper to keep up with it and you won't have to worry about chopping. good luck.

congratulations, also the easiest way to lube them is by dropping some paintball gun oil into the asa and shooting the gun. unless it is a delrin bolt, you may want to grease the bolt every so often. have fun with the speed.
