I have a halo b with cheetah board, but as I understand it, intellifeed works off of trigger pull. So regardless of my upgraded board, it will only move the wheel when the trigger is pulled. My question is will a stock halo b board work just as well as my cheetah board? My other question RIP drive is still a good upgrade for intellifeed correct?

The new MT intellifeed WILL work WITH any Halo board. You have to have the Halo board on for the new intellifeed to work. So that if your wire comes off while playing your loader still works without having to mess with it. And the rip drive is nice when your batteries die so you can manually feed your gun.

I understand that, what I was asking is wouldnt it be the same if I got a stock board with MT intellifeed and a cheetah board with intellifeed. Since the wheel cycles with each trigger pull, the cheetah board with intellifeed has no advantage and would feed just as fast as a stock halo board with intellifeed

When the Intellifeed is installed, the feeding into the gun becomes super smooth and consistent.
The beauty of the new MT Intellifeed is that it still retains the features of whatever board you have in there. For example, if you have the Cheetah in there and the Cheetah senses a jam, it'll go into Cheetah's anti-jam mode and then continue as Intellifed.

Also, if in the remote chance that you want to use the Intellifed loader on another gun that isn't Intellifeed or if the loader plug becomes unplugged, you can still use the loader and have the Cheetah (or any other board) features still working.
Ken Crane has my G7 Fly right now and he is officially installing the MT Intellifeed, milling and all. Man, I can't wait to see how it comes out lol.

Hey Trigg, I seen your last vid. Do you think you could make another vid of your set up and post it? V-M

Hey Trigg, I seen your last vid. Do you think you could make another vid of your set up and post it? V-MYou bet! As soon as I get the G7 Fly back, I will take tons of pics and go another, more official (I hope!) video. Before I had the prototype version. It works the same but this will be with it really hardwired into the Fly. For the prototype, I had the wire into the grip.
Stay tuned....

I just got the MT intellifeed from Bob and it is one of the best upgrades you can get. Like everyone else said, the halo still retains all of its original functions, but is activated whenever the trigger is pulled. I will try to get a vid up in the near future.

Guys,
I tried a few different halo boards during testing. The most noticable thing I saw was the higher end boards have higher feedrates, much more snap to the turns. So no matter how fast you can pull your marker the loader will keep up with it. Stock boards are still difficult to starve your gun with but... Another thing was, how good your batteries are. I was amazed at how fast the drop off in power was from a fresh set in. So keep that in mind as you review your improvements.
Myself I run the intellifeed with a Cheetah. Man this thing rips like no other. If you know me it has to have a Hemi under the hood.

ok i am dumb - it seems my halo is smooth already - what exactly does the intel feed do - i rarely miss a ball and i never break fresh paint? so why should i get an intel feed? this should be a new thread probably?
