Don`t they come with the mem6 board and cops 2 now?jus wonderin.

depends on where you bought it

if you bought it from an online place they are probably trying to move out old stock that they've been sitting on for 6+ months. That's how they manage to get the prices they do, by buying in bulk at one time.........so if they got a deal on buying 100 units then they sit on them those 100 units for 5 to 8 months you get stuck with an Angel that was ordered x number of months ago

Well we also need to remember that even some local stores cant or dont get their product directly from the manufacturer. Most of them get their stuff from a supplier such as National. Although it is fun to bash online stores sometimes you get the same from a local store. This is why although it is more expensive you are better off with guys like Impact, Warped, Cobra, etc... where services continues after the purchase. Although typically WDP will take care of you no matter what. Which is what keeps me coming back again and again and again.

Yeah the mem5 board and cops 1 are a bit older. When buying my Angel recently I almost forgot to ask the company what boards and COPS are currently on their markers. Watch out for Ebay as well, you sometimes get shafted by getting like mem3 cops 1. I always wait a while after a new gun comes out to pick it up generally because they exentually fix the flaws it came out with and make it even better. you know?
The board i wouldn't be too worried about but A LOT of people hate the COPS1 feature and from who i know, simply turn it off. I'm sure you'll be able to use it just do some research on it.the COPS2 fixed all the (or most whatever) flaws that stereotyped the IR3 when it first came out. making it actually useful. Just letting you know, some people may love it, I have the COPS2 so i have no clue as how the earlier version worked... i think upgraded boards are available to be installed at like impact and stuff for like $75... let me know if i am correct or not.
*remember:* The only people who hate Angels are the one's who can't afford them.

if im not mistaken you can just send your gun to a certified angel tech to have your board reprogrammed for free + shipping. im pretty sure mem4 and higher boards can be reprogrammed to mem 6a which is the exact same thing as mem6 except the a tells you it was reprogrammed. correct me if im wrong.

From what I heard from my dealer @ badlands is they will put a brand new board in that has the cops2 and mem 6 because its a totaly different trigger and set up,he wasn`t to sure ,he said he just sends them to the tech in Toronto.It is still going to cost me tho.I just bought the marker.:angry:
