hey guys, i'm gonna get a tadao soon, and i know that everyone loves them, but i was wondering if anyone had any reason i shouldent, or just something they dont like about it (is the micro switch noticiably diffrent than the optical trigger?), i'll probibly still get the tadao, but i wanna know what i'm in for. also, does the tadao for the 05peed have a light on the side, or only the back? plz dont just send me a billion posts about how there isent anything wrong with the tadao, i have heard all that allready, rather only ppl who have anything negative about it.

There is a big different between the optical switch and the micro switch. The optical switch is a LITTLE smoother that than microswitch because there is friction in the tadao when the trigger hits the microswitch, unlike in the opto board. The good thing sbout the tadao board is that it makes the trigger noticably lighter, which allows you to achieve a higher rate of fire, I think this is a good trade off.
As for the LED.
The light is on the front of the tadao board, but you can still see it through the holes on the back of the gun, but only the top LED hole is used, unlike the opto board, where all 6 holes are lit.
Hope this helps.

I do not Not like the TaDao. ;)
The only minor, and I mean minor, thing is that it doesent guage the batt power well (Using the 9v, cant speak of the users who have the lith pack). So it will give you somwhat a 50% reading and your like, "ok, I I have enough juce to play today" and then you play half your day, and you go onto the field and bam, your in the 50 Taco with a dead batt in the middle of a game. Then it appears to give you a bunch a flashing colors colors and you spend a minute or two trying to figure out the error, but you cant find it, cause its not listed. One thinks they F'ed up thier TaDao, but its just a dead batt.
Now this has happened to me only 2 times when I am playing and I have not locked the board. Dont know if this would happen if you lock you board. Luckily, you just throw a batt in and your good for anther 6 game days or so (gotta love that of the 9v).
I had the same questions about the new board . So I know were u are coming from. I worried about the trigger only to find out that the new one was definately faster and not much notice of differance. the light comes out of the back just like the old ones . but there is only one. its bright blue wich is cool. In my opinion its worth the $150.00
