i want a board that i dont have to use a twig to change the settings. heres my idea, and i'm not crazy, because racegun has done someting like this. have a micro-usb port in the grip frame, whare u could plug it into ur computer/palm pilot/cell phone and change the settings from an easy to read screen, that is still tournie legal, because ur not gonna bring ur cell phone on the field, but you can change it without needing an allen wrench to take off the grip, somewhare to put the screws, a tiny twig to push the button, and your manual to decode the leds. how cool would it be to be able to just plug your cell phone into your angel and have all of your settings rite in front of you! the cell phone software could be downloaded from the moble net like other aplicationa on your phone.

one more note: the settings should also be able to be changed like the old boards, in case one dosent have a cell phone that is compatiable or forgot it at home.

if you turn the tournament lock off of the tadao board you can adjust all setting without touching a screw....

well, im proposeing this as a luxary, not a nesessity. you definiantly dont NEED it, but it would make angels just that much cooler. u guys do have a point bout the tadao, but only on lcd models (g7, g7fly) with buttons on the back(or maby im wrong, i dont personaly have a tadao, but im getting 1 soon). there r no external switches on the speeds, only the trigger. i know the adjustments are fine how they are, but i just think it would be better (and not to mention cooler)than haveing to get out your manual to figure out the buttons and stuff. and like i said, the settings should be able to be changed manualy also, but the plug would be the main method. again, i am only speeking from my experiances with a speed, but i think it must hold true for a tadao, b/c thet dont have lcd screens, and no matter how hard i try, i just cant memorize led blinks and colors. btw, im working at ag this weekend, im not sure wich day, ill post it later, but look 4 the tallest ref w/ a yellow v-force ref mask with angel stickers and spikes in it.

the tadao's configured using only the trigger. the buttons on the rear of the grip are only used for safety on/off and eyes on/off.

The luxury with the usb on race-guns is that there the only ones who have it really, i believe the patent is owned by either them or w.a.s but it would cost to much in licensing fees for wdp to produce a board like that probably :/

i would like to see smaller boards, =)

Yeah, but is the patent for the mini-usb port and marker programability? A good patent lawyer could find a loophole to allow you to use a different type plug into the marker to do the same thing. I'd love to be able to do what reptilejd9 is recommending. I already have my marker manuals for the 05 Speed and G7 on my laptop so I could just add this software too! It would make it soooo much easier to program all the bells and whistles included in the G7s. I am replacing my stock board with a Tadao because the stock is such a pain to program. A larger remote interface would be awesome.
