Well i just got a new Opto equiped cnc today, and decided to put a couple shots through it. Well i screw on my crossfire preset, look at the gauge, it reads 2200 psi, i fire off about 35 shots, look at the gauge, it reads 1000 psi... So while watching the gauge i fire a shot and i can see the needle drop about 100 psi! Anyone know what might be going on? Nothing's leaking and it's not shooting hot. At this rate i'll have to fill my tank more then my hopper.

...try a different tank... most propably there is something wrong with the tank...

The guage could be funked up, but then again it could be anything.

Angel's are gas hogs. . . . lets hope to god u are joking. i got a 4500 fill yesterday while playing in a tourney with my ir3. i had 1250 shots on the trip with 1500psi left. i didnt shoot 1 shot without a paintball coming out either.

as for the problem. this is the first time ive EVER heard anything like this. you cna see the needle drop 100psi?? and theresn o leaks and the gun is shooting fine???? if so something is severely, SEVERELY wrong.

Check your dwell and maybe the LPR and Snap Ring.

it seems to be doing better, i got a friend's tank that had about 2800 psi, and shot about 2 hoppers through it before it went dry, but that's still kinda hogging it.

Thats rough man i can get arround 1500 shots per 68/45 fill. And thats with a small leak that sometimes a\occures because i'm too lazy to buy new macro line fittings.

I use a crossfire 68/45 and have never saw or heard of a problem like that. My IR3 is not a gas hog at all I get a good amount of shots off of mine so it might be the tank try a few other tanls and see.

Ok, i rebuilt the Mini Reg and LPR, and am getting about 800 shots off of a fill to 3000. I also found out my preset was seeping, i couldn't hear it but i filled it to 3000 and left it over night and it was at 2400. Oh well, i have a new tank on the way from UPS so if the tank is totally responsible it will be good and done with.

No piling on but angels are the furthest thing from gas hogs. I must be you tank.
