is it possible to convert an asedaline tank/oxygen tank to scuba? I doubt it, but I just bought 2 new tanks, and I don't need my old ones.

i'm not an oxy-acetylene welder but I am a scuba diver and I would not chance using a tank which had anything other than air in it for my scuba. it doesn't seem worth the risk to me.

I'm gunna use it to fill my compressed air tanks, so I won't need to breath it

The acetylene may hurt the solenoid, which is probably more sensitive than your lungs.

what about the oxygen tank
You're talking about just using the tanks you have already, just getting em filled with compressed air, no using the acetiline or oxygen right, just the tanks? Well from what I knwo you can cause some por shops use those tanks to fill hpa tanks they just go down to the local air and welding supplier and ask for the tanks to be filled with compressed air. If thats what you plan to do, then just call the local air/welding supplier and ask.
