Do these new LCDs have any type of ''eye'' or breech sensor similar to COPS? if not then these guns have got to be blenders when your shooting fast

There is no COPS sensor on the 2k3 lcd's. You must not have been shooting angels for very long. They aren't blenders when tuned correctly. A barrel break is more likely than a chop, just due to paint inperfection.

I actually kapp on balls when i start outshooting my 12V, i guess the LPR must be sweetspotted pretty well, because i'm not chopping and i'm getting good velocity...... damn do i love WDP

Hehe. I have a 2k2 LCD, with an evo2 Hopper. No, it is not as advanced as the IR3 as far as chop prevention, but I rarely chop balls, and I shoot pretty fast.
I've noticed that is has a lot to do with ball size. Small paint seems to load faster for some reason and I can set my Max Rate Of Fire (MROF) to 17 BPS without chopping. When using larger bore paint it likes to be set at a MROF of 15. In reality, nobody really shoots that fast, nor needs to.
10bps is more than enough to keep someones head down, or prevent them from peeking out when you are making a bunkering move. Heck, 5bps is generally enough. Much more than that is a huge waste of paint, and is nothing more than just showing off.
Yes, the faster you are the scarier it seems to newbies and untrained players, but the good players dont' care if you're shooting 10 bps or 14 bps, its really all the same.
blender? heck no. like I said I very rarely chop a ball, and when I do its because I have the MROF set too high for the hopper I'm using.

Dude, you dont know what your talking about(bling), ive had my 03 LCD for a couple weeks now, and have yet to chop a ball, well i chopped once but that was my fault cuz i forgot to turn my hopper on, but these guns are definatly not a "blender"

blingbling im sorry man, but i dont think you have been shooting angels. I have played with my first ever angel. I broke 2 balls, maybe because i was using old paint or something, but a swab would fix that. I never chopped. Note: Chopping and Breaking a ball is different right? Angels will take care of you, if you take care of it right Angel owners?

When I had my bonebrake eclipse LED I would pinch paint. I think I did that twice before I sold the gun, probally went through 10 cases, btw I was using the old pre-be 12v loader.

get a evoII or a Halo .. and you won't chopp, if you shoot faster then 18 bps go for the halo.

in fact, if you shoot faster than about 15bps go for the halo. I have the Evo 2 and tho it is a nice hopper, I will chop balls with my 2k2 if using larger bore paint and set my MROF above 15.
the Evo 2 isn't really a true force-fed hopper like the halo, which uses spring pressure to force the balls into the breech. It has been shown that 13bps is the theoretical maximum for a feeder that relies on gravity to load balls into the breech because of the amount of time the ball has to accelerate into the breech, from resting on top of the bolt.
The Evo2 still relies on gravity.

k. hehe i don't shoot over 15bps ... only with TB.... and idon't go with TB so it works fine for me. BTW 1 good ball beats 20, and if you get 20 good balls, I feel sorry for the guy :)

I had no idea that having ACE would affect my markers sexual prefference. You are right though, the 03 LCD is definetely not for you. Please don't purchase one, You might tarnish the markers rep.

Ok I think this thread has exausted its possibilities. We all know angels don't chop if they are tuned with the right hopper and mrof.

all markers chop unless they have eyes.

heheehe :D
You may be right, but I remember back in the day even our pump guns would chop when rapid firing sometimes. Of course, paintball technology seems to have come a long way since then ;D
what kind of pumper do you use? I sometimes miss my old PGP, it was all decked out with a 8" barrel extension, combat grips, a stock with constant air, custom field stripping notch, gravity feed, home-made 200 round hopper (made from ABS that a friend of mine bent in an oven), etc etc. hah!
Of course, the chopping was probably just us not fully opening and closing the bolt.. who knows :D
