A more traditional clamping neck would be better--the o-ring thing doesn't work well. I've had them block the feedtube and they never let the hopper go (it's a test of strength to pry it out of the feed neck).

The feedneck is the only thing that I don't like about my Angel

personaly i love the feed neck, the only thing i dont like about it is the mettal on metal scrapeing when it is tightened, i fixed this by putting some shocker grease on the threads. and for those of you that cant get your loader out, have you tried loosining the o-rings? i know it sounds crazy but the whole collar unscrews to allow you to do this! amazing i know! sry, im being sarcastic, im sure you are all smart people who are just confused by the "lefty-loosey" concept

I, too like the twist-lock feednecks... they don't require an extra allen wrench to loosen or tighten!!! If WDP DOES decide to switch feednecks, they should definitely go with a cam-lock that requires no allen wrench--just twist the cam to tighten then fold it over to lock.

I agree with the people on top...the stock feednecks suck.

The kinda made it a tiny bit better when they made the o-rings in the neck into a 1 piece o-ring on the G7 instead of 4 separate huge o-rings...which was evn more of a nightmare .(hard to imagine i know)

I think the sarcasm isn't needed for this one :P:cheers: ...even after you finally manage to get your new halo all the way in your feedneck without blocking the tube from the o-ring slipping through the only way I can get it out personally is to unscrew the the whole top metal piece off the threads and yank the hopper off with the metal piece and o-rings still on it...then proceed to take out the o-rings and red spacer out of the metal threaded piece...which is a royal pain.

If you unscrew the top metal part to where there is no pressure on the o-rings but it is still slightly threaded on so the neck doesnt come apart like stated above then taking the hopper off is almost a 2-person job. Total junk IMO....but that is only a few-and-far-between type of flaw of course...the guns themselves are perfect.:)

Only way to avoid this is to sand your hopper; but the whole point of having an adjustable/locking feedneck is so you don't have to. :(

I just bought a Check-it clamping feedneck and it works fine :bouncer:

I wonder if Angel Force or WDP will be selling the new clamping feedneck seen on the Angel One as an accessory for all other Angels? Now that'd be freaking cool!
