Halo Voltage?

Has anyone ever used the 9volt conversion but used 9.6 rechargables in their Halo b and would this fry your stock board? I've read on other forums that it will make the hopper faster.

i run a single 9.6 on my halo v35 and it works fine. i dont know if its any faster, but it sure is lighter. the victory board is fast as is. and im pretty sure the board regulates the input power on its own. what it does do is increase the shot life with the 9v or 9.6v. but thats only with the double 9v mod.
