Hey,
The people in the ir3 forum tried to help me, but now I've just ended up with an extra circuit board. My ir3 doesn't go into charge mode. It just says "pwron" when off, and when I turn it on all it does is wait 15 seconds and then dies. If you could help me, that would be appreciated.

if you have a volt meter then you need to check the charger's output. its probably a bad charger, or a bad battery. did someone tell you to buy a new board? if so you should check the software ver. your going to want the newest one of the two. you know, since you already have it you might as well take advantage of it. ir3 boards ver 4-6 have the opto trigger switch. those are the keepers. another idea would be to sell both of the ir3 boards on ebay and look into a predator board. it will probably cost you some more after you sell, but its a bad ass board and it gives you all of the firing modes instead of just semi with the ir board.
just a thought. hope it helps

I have charged the board before a few times with that charger, but I'll check the volts on the charger anyway. I don't really want a pred board, because I am getting a new gun this summer. Both boards are mem3, but I'm pretty sure it's the battery. I'll check into it all and thanks for your help.

you have to turn the gun on to charge the battery. the board will get power with out the gun being on so it looks like its charging - but the battery will not charge - peeps do it all the time!
