hammer stuck on ram

the o ring on my ram shaft needed to be replace and now all thats preventing my wonderfull gat from working is the fact that i cant seem to get the hammer off the ram

please if any of u guys know how can u help me

i dont want to scratch the ram or hammer with vicegrips, please help me out!

Use two rubber strap wrenches. Wrap them around you hammer and ram and then put vice grips on.

yea, the hammer is on the ram shaft really good on angels
just get too strap wrenches, and you will be good
if you dont have any, i would go buy some, you will always need strap wrenches..

ok now i have another question is it threaded on the ram?

or is it just pushed on the and licked with that grub screw?

it is threaded
and you will need to back the grub screw out because it is pressed up against the ram shaft, preventing it from moving
