when i dry fire, the bolt will stick forward and leak down the barrel, but if i push down on the breech, it comes back fine. if i hold down the breech while i dryfire, it dryfires fine. and if i shoot paint, it shoots fine no matter what. it just started doing this.
question: why does my bolt stick forward only when i dry fire and im not pressing down the breech? and it shoots fine no matter what with paint.

Could be your bolt pin is a little short. As to why it doesn't do it with paint? Maybe the pressure of the air expanding between the bolt and the ball is enough to get your bolt moving back to the open position.

mine did the same thing and it didn't even have a case of paint shot through it, but if I hold the bolt back when I air the gun up it will work fine the rest of the day.

i guess i should have tried that but mine only leaked when i was shootin fast...it was like the breach wasnt closing tight enough and it was letting air out when the bolt was forward...all i had to do was hold down the breach and it quit...but like i said, sent it to a tech and he said it just needed cleaned...it worked fine this last tournament and it hasnt happened again (knock on wood)

new update on this problem...sent it in to get it fixed and all they did was replace the breech seal...evidently mine was worn out or something and the seal wasnt tight enough...now its working fine
