Hi. Does the G7 have a PSP/CFOA ramping mode? I was just reading the G7 manual and I see 2 semi modes, a full auto mode, Xball 3 shot burst, a semi limited to 15 bps MROF mode, an Accum mode, and a demo mode. My 05 Speed has a ramping mode (replaced the original Demo Mode) and I am surprised that the G7 doesn't (at least I can't tell if it does). Does Mode 4, Semi limited to MROF 15bps or Mode 5, Accum Mode, ramp and I am too ignorant to tell based on the descriptions? Or did they do away with the Demo Mode (like in the Speed) and replace it with a ramping mode? Any help from you experienced people would be appreciated as I am thinking about getting a G7 and want to be able to ramp in CFOA events. Thanks!

Im pretty sure the stock board doesnt have it, and the demo is amazingly fast lol but you cant use it with paint. The Tadao has all your needs covered though but it is sadly not LCD

i am pretty sure that the 15 bps cap mode is legal, it is just semi capped at 15 and Accum mode is 15 bps cap and manual says "it will shoot more that trigger pulls"

to me, that sounds psp legal to me, I am going to play with in Vegas.

Check mode 3 and see what that does for u. If its the right one and run some paint in it or just listen to the little clicks it makes it will sound like its just in a burst forum untill u put some paint in it. If that didnt work then u mihgt just have to get another board.

i have been using the X-ball mode. and after the 3 normal shots, most of the times it will shoot 4-5 maybe 6 balls per trigger pull. But, he PSP rules say that it is only legal for it to shoot 3 balls per trigger pull after the first 3 semi shots. I have my tr turned all the way down to 1.

Some one help!!

Mode 3 is PSP legal. The manual actually says that it goes to "3 round burst" after the first 3 trigger pulls. It shouldnt be running away from you like youre saying it is.

Try turning the "MDB" all the way up

i dont have MDB.

yeah what the manual says is legal. but what mine is doing isn't. it should shot 6 balls for 4 trigger pulls.

so i put 7 balls in my hopper and pulled the trigger 4 times and there were no more balls in the haopper and/or feedneck. so i put in 8, and there was 1 left. I did the 8 ball thing 3 times and it was it went 1 ball leftover, 2 balls left over, and 1 ball left over.

so i dont know what to do about it.

you dont need ramping anyways. Just set your dwell nice and low, get your T/O to something comfortable, and uncap your MROF.

wow are you serious?...

he said he would be playing Vegas with it. Which is psp and 15bps ramping.

paintgiver - did you do the magnet mod? and if you did front or back mag.

hm...how short is your trigger pull? if possible i would lengthen it just a hair to see if that does it. I really wish there was a AMB setting stock for this reason.

and i dont think any ref will call you on it in psp unless you are shooting over 15 or looks like you are using full auto.

What version has the AMB? I have 91:8. And yes you should be able to get it flashed if WDP is there. If there is a new software I might get mine flashed at Tampa.

nope, i called FMA and they said that the version i have (91:3) is not legal. and WDP will not be able to flash m board at te PSP. So I have to buy a tadao board down there.

your MDB is under the tournament lock. When you change your mode of fire, cycle though all the other features. You should find MDB there. And as far as I can tell Mode 5 sounds to me like a ramp mode, capped at 15bps. But if your getting a tadao, that will be better for you.

I think it has G1.8 or something. (Yes...it's a G not a 9)
The Fly's have (G1.5a).
The Cobra's software is specifically for the Cobra. It has a couple of extra firing modes....NXL and NXL Plus

The LCD display is limited...the G and the 9 are identical. However....when it's part of the software version...it's a G
