I just ran the battery dead on my ir3, and when I go to charge it, it says pwron, so I turn the power on, then off and it goes in to charge mode. Once it is in charge mode for about 15 seconds, the screen starts flashing in and out and the gun won't charge. Is this a battery or board problem?

You need to leave your gun turned on the whole time its charging. When you turn the switch off it disconnects the battery from the board.

no, when charging, you need to have the gun off

I just bought a new board, and that didn't fix it. So it's either my battery, or charger
The gun needs to be ON while charging.

yah, I know it has to be on. I've charged it like 5 times, and then this happened. it's either battery, or charger and I need to know

ok, you said you turned it on then off. Then you said you know it has to be on, after saying it has to be off. I'm really confused here....
Turning the switch on completes the circuit with the board. The switch being off physically disconnects the battery from the board.
Which way did you have it?

ok, I turned the gun on and then plugged the charger in. It didn't do anything like it usually does, so I turned it off. It then said pwron, so I turned it back on thinking it would charge. It didn't so I turned it off again. It then went into charge mode with the cascading battery bar going up and saying "CHARG" I let it go for a while, and then the lcd started flashing the letters on and off, and the led kept blinking and it wouldn't charge at all. If I leave the gun on, absolutely nothing happens except the battery dies very quickly.
It is either battery, board or charger.Do you have any way to check them (volt meter)?

I'm 100% sure it's the battery
