hmm, if the fitting is all the way in, maybe something has happened to cause it to leak, try taking it wall the way off, and the put it back on, but not all the way,

also, check the front o-ring to make sure thats not the problem

Are you sure that it's leaking from where it threads into the unimount and not actually leaking from the fitting where the macro line goes in?

If the later is the case then you just need to trim you macro line so that it has a nice, clean, flat edge.

You could rub some good old fashioned spit (is soapy water really worth the trouble, lol) around where the fitting meets the unimount...if it bubbles when you air it up, then you've found your leak...and you could try using some blue loctite instead of the tape. You really shouldn't have to torque the fitting in there so hard.

NO,DONT use loctite, then the fitting will be extremely hard to get out, why would u want that, hopefully u used teflon tape on the threads before u screwed the fitting in?

Blue loctite is low strength and is fine to use on fittings. It is very easy to get break free with regular hand tools and no heating. If you ever buy new macro line fittings you'll notice that they have loctite already on them.

Too add to this we always used red loctite at the shop, which is even stronger. Blue is prefectly fine. If you are using loctite make sure you let it cure overnight [solidfy] before airing it up.
