I finally took the time to read my GAT manual; I got to page 18 I it describes how to remove the Vernier Wheel...what function does the wheel serve?

LOL, the position of the trigger, it is used to adjust the trigger pull

Thanks! One more question...what is the default setting for the Loader type (i.e. Agitator or force feed)? What stting should I use for a Halo?

Not sure what the default is, check in the manual but a Halo is a force feed loader, not agitating
