So I just bought new eyes for my A4 fly to see if that would do anything, but no such luck. When You put paint through it, it will fire every five shots or so and most likely chop and cause the bolt to stick forward.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
alex

Did you take the wires off the board to install the eyes? It sounds like you plugged the SOL wire into the HOP port by accident. If you look on the board the ports are labled. Just switch the ports if you did it wrong.

no, i have everything in the right place. It seems like the port that you plug the eye ribbon into is not getting any power at all because my lazer eyes are not even turning on. Is there anything that I can purchase to help this problem?
o ya i forgot to mention in the first post, i did do the eye test and it failed.

I had a similar problem to this and it was oddly enough a trigger adjustment. You know how if you hold the trigger down for a few seconds the eyes turn off? Well that is what is going on. You pull the trigger once or twice and it will stick on one of the pulls long enough for the eyes to turn off. Try readjusting your trigger. Hope this helps.

you installed the eyes yourself? Are they brand new? If you check the connection like crashdan said, then you may have torn/kinked/creased/stretched/ or in any other way damaged the fly eye ribbon. I have seen where the eye ribbon was broken by where it laid on top of the vernier wheels. My bet is that when you installed your eyes, you damaged that ribbon in the process.
I would remove the eyes and CLOSELY inspect the eye ribbon for any kinks or damage that could have been caused during installation. Unfortunately, if the ribbon has been damaged, it is very difficult to repair it.
