Yeah, Ken is holding back on us! I just saw that he has them listed on www.performanceangel.com here: http://performanceangel.com/store/home.php?cat=95
They look freaking cool! Can't wait to hear a review. They nice and stable and hold the gun well or does it feel loose when cradled in the Crib?
And for the guys West of the Mississippi.

The only error I can think of is that you have to have the air tank on your marker because so of us (mainly me) fill up our airtanks all the way after we leave the field.
Well I guess I can throw away that PVC pipe I've been hanging on to for the past 2 years :stooges: . I always had this pipe dream that I was going to make a gun stand out of it, and just never got around to it.
So I am at kens (performanceangel.com) Shop Wednesday night, and See "The Crib" on the Shelf. I had seen it on his website the day before, and thought it looked pretty neat. At first I didn't realize what it was because it was in the carrying case. I asked him about it, so he broke it out to show me. I was pretty impressed with it right off the bat because it feels so heavy duty. Not sure what the metal is but it feels real durable. Not something that is going to bend easy in the gear bag which is where it will fit when folded up. The fact that it will fit in my gear bag without taking up a bunch of room was another good selling point IMO. I hate having to make a bunch of trips back to the car :wall: so it being compact will make it easy to bring to practices, and events, especially if you are flying to an event.
Blue is my favorite color and I really like the dark blue that it comes in. The only other color I saw was red and that looked sharp as well.
Once I got it home I set it up, and put a G7 (as you see in the pic) with a Hopper (I didn't have any paint to fill the hopper but all six batteries were in it) 16" Barrel, and a 72ci peanut tank that was completely filled in it. It holds it upright nice and stable. When I pushed on the hopper enough the gun fell on its side in the crib (never touched anything that would scratch it). It took quite a few rough pushes to get it to fall. Then I smacked the hopped from side to side (My wife walked in on me doing this, and said I was gone :embarasse ) to see what it could take, and the crib never once fell over. So I pushed on it with constant pressure until it was standing on two legs and it finally would have (I caught it of course!) toppled over when It got to about a 60-70 degree angel. My concern was that if I had it on the table and someone bumps into it, or bangs the table hard it didn't just fall on its side and maybe even worse bounce off the table. I do not think that will be a issue at all. It also has holes in the center of the footings that you could just put a screw threw into your table for extra safety. I am not sure if that is what the holes are meant for or not but you could use them like that if you are a worry wart :D.
Ken was also telling me that they will make you custom ones for your team in groups of seven. Seven of these babies wont be going anywhere! Just the stand alone will weigh about 20 lbs with seven connected together. I am going to try to talk the boys into getting a team Crib! As of right now we all just pile the guns on top of the table, and peoples stuff is always getting knocked over or pushed to the side to make more room. I bet 80% of the scratches on my gun are from it being on the staging table and getting other guns set on it and gear put on it, and pushed to the side. Now I can just toss it in the crib, and load it while it stands upright. It will take up 1/4 the amount of room on the table. The stand itself is only about 4-5" wide.
I can't wait to take it to the field this sunday, and show it off :D I know everyone is going to be green with envy. :moon: :boink: I love being the first one to find a awesome new toy. All in all I am real happy with my Crib. I have a feeling that you will be seeing a lot of these around this season. And thats my review.

great write up man, are you saying that you can connect them, or that they will make one big 7 gun unit?

Ken said they will make one big unit (7 gun Cribs all connected together) It will fold together just like a single unit does, but it will be 7 of them all folded together. I asked if you could take them apart to make them back into single gun stands, but I can't remember if he said yes or no... I am sure him or Bob will pipe up, and answer that Q.

Wouldn't be dangerous to display your gun with a filled air tank on it?

Do you mean like store front display, if so then yes that is not good for the internals cause the constant pressure. But I think he means display leak inbetween games when your setting up.
Just don't turn the air on. You can have your rig all set up tank barrel, and hopper, and have it on a shelf in the crib, and have no worries. I see in your sig you have a On/off valve, so its not like the gun will be gassed up.
Even if you did leave it gassed I don't think it would really matter. I have a straight ASA no On off, and have left the tank on my gun filled with air before. I have had my gun for over 2 years. I have never had a problem with it, and have left the tank on it quite a few times after practices.
