Ok, so i this past weekend i went to phili with my friend to a reball practice with his team...

The problem was that i couldnt get the thing anywhere close to under 240fps...Honestly i had a hard time getting it under 280fps. Both regs were totally stripped and greased...nothing changed but uber consistancy.

i have a stock g7 with 80k shots, its been thoroughly greased with Love Grease.
*Lp Angel air Preset tank
*60-65psi lpr(tried lowering)
*dwell is 10(tried lowering to 8, nothing)

I mean, this thing is 285(+/- 2) really, plus or minus 2fps(i love it).

So i was stuck using an inferior gun throughout the whole weekend *ahem*timmy*

On a side note...

I was truely taken off my feet by the sheer low performance/high stress caused by intimidators. Now ive owned one, and when i say owned one i mean i was forced to buy one, but it never worked so i used my angel anyways.

The thing is, out of two practices, about 4 timmys went down, and honestly, my angel has never gone down ONCE! I can say, with my right hand up to god, that have never bought a part or had to fix any problems with any of the angels ive ever used. thats roughly 400,000 shots with absolutely no problems(leaking/not shooting).

Try lowering your LPR, but since your newer to angels I would just send it to an MT.

Both regs were totally stripped and greased...

Make sure you put both spring stacks back in the correct order.

3 years of angel experience isnt really 'new to angels', though sending it to an mt is a good suggestion, i think ill wait until huntington beach to do that...

i tried lowering the lpr...though one shim lowered it about 10 fps, i dont think thats the best way to go about doing it. by the time its low enough to shoot under 240 fps, id think that it would be choking the solenoid...?

An MT's opinion would be greatly appreciated...

i came to the board looking for help for this exact same problem.

we play reball and i can't get my wife's speed '05 under 280fps, as a mater of fact it's hard to keep it under 300fps when i try to adjust the velocity.

can get my LCD's and IR3 under 240

i would prefer not to have to send it in.

klutz what kind of tank are you using high or low pressure.

i know you addressed it but i think the only way to do it is to lower the lpr, i had the same problem but it was reversed where i need to raise the velocity and i couldn't get it to shoot above 280, i had my lpr with 2 shims removed so it was about 58, added a shim and i got to get it to reach 300.

any correlation with lpr and velocity would be appreciated!

i'm using a high pressure tank maybe i need low pressure one.
funny because i can use high pressure on everything else.

i'm using a high pressure tank maybe i need low pressure one.
funny because i can use high pressure on everything else. That's sure to be your problem. The G7 is a low pressure marker and the most common effect reported by those who use a HP tank is problems getting their fps down. Try a LP tank and I bet that fixes your issue.

THere's no way you're going to get that below 240 with a tank output of 800+. You need a tank with a 450 psi output.
