i have on 01 lcd angel that i bought used from someone and i dont know how to change the modes i have already read all the manuals but they dont really tell me anything. I tried all the steps the manuals said but it wont change it is always on mode b semi auto please help

well this happend to me a wile back when i bought one of my lcd's used and it is basicly like a locker if you buy a used locker you better know the combo to unlock it and angels are the same way. an owner can lock his or her angel on semi, the gun can only be unlocked if the previus owner tells you the combo (a sertain combination of buttons when the gun is in the elect fire mode) or another posibility is the owner might have had the bord replaced anywere but the factory and ive heard stories were kids install a new board themselves and they have the same problem you r discribing

There is no 'combo' that the previous owner could set to lock it into semi mode. You can put a PIN in it, but that locks the whole gun. As far as unlocking the current board, there is a thread in this forum that talks about unlocking a board. Run a quick search for 'unlocked lcd'.

You can get the datalink accessory for your angel. It is quite expensive, but if your looking to unlock your board, you can do it with this. You connect it to your computer, and follow some steps about changing the string of numbers around, and it will unlock your modes.......Including Y & Z I believe. You can find the datalink at most WDP distributors. Try www.angelparts.com or www.buypb.com
