Okay so I'm trying to speed up my halo B, and was looking at a few options. First, I bought a Shocktech drive cone, (I know that has no effect on the speed), I also got a Angry board. I'm thinking of getting one of those little wheels from shocktech, or New designs. I understand that by increasing the size of the diameter on the motor's pulley, it will increase the turning radius of the drive cone, thus increasing the speed. But, I noticed how much bigger the other two sprockets are, the the belt turns, then in return turning the drive cone. Wouldn't that slow down the potenial speed of the motor? I'm thinking now of experiamenting with a old halo B, and placing a speed wheel (either from Shocktech, New Designs, or Violent Products) on both, the motor's pulley and directely on the stem of the drive cone. In theroy this should cause both the drive cone, and the motor's pulley to have the same rpms as each other, since they will be the same diameter. But my question is would that be to Fast? would that cause my halo to become a paint blender? I'm going to try it anyways, and try to post pics of it. What do you guys think? I really would like to hear from a MT on this idea.:notsure:
