The internals are the same. The differnces lie in the barrel threads, software(mechanical debounce was added), trigger, and milling.
The Fly now comes stock with the Force Flow Valve. I'm not sure if any of the standard G7's did and I know the early ones did not. I think you can make a few upgrades to the G7 and get it to the performance level of the Fly (the Fly will still be lighter and cooler looking IMO) for less than you would spend selling your G7 and picking up a Fly. Either way you won't be disapointed!

Where have you been my friend?
Anyways.......all Angels up to the G7 have used the same ANGEL barrel threads. From the G7 Fly forward (Speed 06 and future Angels) a new Angel thread is being used.
In other words your barrel on your G7 will not fit on a G7 Gly.

They are similar, but they are not the same. Don't use them or you could damage the threads.

Dude compare the two threads and see that they have a similar thread pattern, but things like thread lengh and thread placement do not match! Nice try though, it would be kool to have those barrels as other mil-sim options....
