I have an A4 with the stock board. I have been recently looking at the new Tadao FBS board in order to get the PSP/CFOA modes of fire. My angel does not have eyes. Can someone please educate me as to whether or not I will still be able to use my LCD screen with this board? If not, are there any after market boards that allow you to have these modes while letting you keep the LCD screen? Also, how will not having eyes on my gun affect using the aftermarket boards? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In order to get the max potential of the TADAO, you need eyes!! If not, the board will read it as a malfunction and only allow you to shoot at 14.5bps.

or you could turn eyesoff and it would be capped at 20
no aftermarket boards that i know of let you keep the lcd

yea bud your gonna need eyes. If the 300 is a problem get the demensions of the eye hole and use a drill press and drill your own eyes. My friend did it and did it right. Buy a pred/tadao/WAS(the new was micro is gonna be like under 50 bucks if money is a problem) and you should be set. You might be able to send your gun to vaporworks and thye will drill your holes out for 95 and add a 50 dollor was micro and you have eyes for the price of the tadao alone

You need eyes to have modes, and all aftermarket boards with modes require the eyes, save for turning the eyes of but, with the eyes off you are limited to semi auto.

You do not have to have eyes installed to use the Force Tadao boards. While any gun is going to work better with eyes, turning the eyes off and setting the MROF correctly has worked great for many users.

This just as a follow up.
I ordered a Tadao FBS board for my A4 and did not get the eyes installed at this time. I put the board in an adjusted all the settings for my preferences. I have to disable the eyes setting on the board everytime I turn it on but other than that it worked awesome. I was able to rip without any problem. I have put at least 2 cases of paint through it since and had no problems. If I start chopping paint, I may end up getting the eyes anyway, but for now no problems whatsoever. Thanks for everyone's input.

This is just another follow up in progress with my gun. This last weekend, I played an MSPA tournament with the ramping mode. With the MROF set to 14.75 bps I was chopping paint like crazy. I don't know if it was because I didn't have eyes. I was freakin' cold too so that could have affected the paint. Lots of people were chopping paint that day. I ended up dropping my MROF down to right at 14 bps and that improved things dramatically. Anyway, I decided to go ahead and send my gun to performance angel to get eyes installed on it. It can only help, right? We were also using the top grade of Kick'n paintballs that day and I have heard that those don't do so well in cold weather either. Thanks again for all of the input in this thread.
