gat v. g7 fly

what are the main differences? it would appear that they are basically the same thing, but is that true?

The Gat uses the 06 Speed LED board which has semi and PSP modes only, it uses a 9V battery, it comes with an UltraLite Barrel, a check-it feedneck and asa, and has different milling. The G7 Fly uses an LCD board with a few more modes, its uses a rechargable battery, it comes with a stock infinity barrel and stock feed neck, and it has different milling. Internally the guns are the same. The GAT is a far better deal but I think the G7 Fly looks better.

As JeffW said in his post, and I quote: "Internally the guns are the same."

The battery thing is just preference. In fact I prefer the Angel battery. The LCD tells me when it's getting low so there is no worry about the battery dying on me during a game.

As for the losing the charger. I take care of all my equipment. Do you worry about losing barrels and hoppers too? Besides, since I have a wall charge the Angel charger stays in the same spot in my house ALL THE TIME.

That is a good point...but the LED's on the GAT (or any speed) tell you the status of your 9volt battery.

jeff Great Comparison, one of the quickest said, and clearest so far

I am a huge fan of the rechargable battery, I mean absolutely by far the nicest way to go HOWEVER, You can't deny the Gat, It's just to good of a deal, with the same functionality. I was in the positon, The Gat wins, with the Dye UL, Lightweight milling, and price, plus why not throw in a tadao for some extra modes?

Just my 2 cents
