what is the max range on a dark angel lcd with a 12,14,16 inch bomb stick

Range does not depend on length of barrel. But i believe effective range on an angel is about 150+ feet.

Range will not have much to do with barrel length. A 16 inch barrel shoots like 5 feet further than a 10 inch. So the old length of the barrel myth is BS. Don't listen to people who tell you otherwise. Lengths of barrels are to help wrap air bunkers with in my opinion.

Range depends on velocity, and paint to barrel match.......
I have a 2001 dark angel LCD with flame milling, and My angel gets as good of range as many cocker/impulse/shocker/matrix owners I see at the field. So the old cocker range crap is overrated. closed bolt open bolt......they shoot the same.....

I get good range with my LCD at 285FPS ..... Most paintball guns won't be very accurate over 130-150 feet...... Hitting someone over that distance is lucky.... You really have to lob it.......

the "effectiveness" of a marker also depends on the brittleness of the paint. I could hit you point blank with a rock hard paintball, then shoot some brittle paint (evil) and hit you from 100 ft. Don't forget to take that into effect.

I would say my 99 lcd w/ my 10 inch "bomB" stick get about 200' feet lobbing but i cant still hit a target standing still, and my lcd shoot about as far as my 98c w/ flatline. I really liked this fact becuase i was still gonna use my tippy when playing recball. but now angel all the way.

Don't you mean "BOOM" stick......Because I have never heard of a bombstick.

Funny seeing people put bombstick, and broomstick.

range is dictated by velocity. in this case the prior statement of paintball to barrel match is also very important in the equation because the proper seal lets the air push the ball effectively. physics is physics, 300fps is the same out of every gun. run a search.

i did an experiment on this with an angel, cocker, shocker, spyder and a mag, they all used the same barrel ( freak set) with the same insert with paint from the same bag. i tried to keep as many variables the same as i possible could, i crono'd them to about 290 fps. also had teh barrel laid on a board so teh angle to the groudn was the same... they had about the same distance as each other, within a few feet( less than 5), thsi was about 2 years ago, so im not 100% sure what the distance was.. btw i did this in physics class in high school

he was probably talking about the new evil pipe bomb barrel system.

I've been told and have noticed that longer barrels have a tighter patern at long ranges....my 10 inch boom dont even compare to my freinds 14 inch titanium boom at long range accuracy....and yes we both shoot angels....same paint....and 280 fps....

The bore sizes might be different.
