I have the full Newton Evolve kit in my 05 and the evolve bolt is showing a lot of wear so I was considering replacing it with a Dezign one. Has anyone used a Dezign bolt with a full Newton Evolve kit? I have been thinking about getting a Dezign bolt, but I am not sure whether to get the Open Face or the Venturi bolt design. Anyone have any thoughts on the difference between the two and any advantages one may have over the other (especially with a Evolve setup)? I have read this thread that El Pirata provided:

and it makes the Open Face look a little better. However I want to hear from users as to what they think.

i e-mailed the guy one day, and he said that the open faced ertalyte bolt would be the best for an 05 speed

I have the whole evolve setup and use the DEZign Open face, it has been incredible. The openface will have a better flow but will allow the ball to sit further back. I am assuming the Venturi will not. Either way it did raise my fps by about 30fps. As far as the rollback issue, I can get as much as a 1/3rd of a ball into the breech with small paint, yet I have zero breaks from chops. I belive that it is all in ram adj. I personally have Impact Paintball do all of my tuning, so it could be them [Jim: Tech In Peace:sad:]
Anyhow it must be said that I have a cheetah board in my loader. The board dosent really apply much preassure on the ball stack allowing that 1/3rd of a ball have space to come back up the feedtube. That may not be so with loaders which really torque up the stack.
All in all, Robert is excellent in customer service. The bolts are of an unusial high quality. The material is super slick in the breach (like soap). I will continue buying DEZign bolts for every marker I will ever own until Robert stops making bolts.
