Ultimate Newbie Question -barrel threads

I see a lot of ads for barrels with Autococker or "cocker" threads in the classified section of this site. Are these the same thread pattern as Angel threads? I know the new Speed 06/G7 flys have a new and different thread pattern, but can you use any barrel with autococker threads on an Angel Speed 05? I want a predator games IR barrel to practice with and they don't have one with Angel threads, but they do have one with cocker threads. I searched the forums and couldn't find the answer so I am forced to ask my own newbie question. Thanks in advance for your help.

No, I'm new to angles but i am almost positive that angels do not use cocker threads. I believe cocker threads are thinner and closer together than the threads that are on angels.

Angels have never used cocker threads, and according to WDP, never will. You already know what models use the new threads, everything older than that uses the same old angel thread.
